OUR STORY

Like many good things, TCC Homes began with trust, shared values, and a long-standing friendship.

Tye and Luke have been friends since childhood with Bec later becoming part of the story. 

Long before TCC Homes existed, Tye was already the person Luke and Bec turned to for renovations on their apartments - small-scale projects like bathrooms and decks, always delivered with precision, care and a clear eye for detail.

As the projects grew, so did the trust. Tye continued building his expertise on large-scale sites, while Luke and Bec developed a strong understanding of the emotional and practical value of a home. When the time came for Luke and Bec to build on their own block, there was no question who they wanted by their side.

What started as a collaboration between friends quickly evolved into a shared vision: to create homes with substance, warmth and longevity - homes should reflect the people who live in them and stand the test of time.

Today, TCC Homes brings together Tye’s craftsmanship and on-site leadership with Luke and Bec’s behind-the-scenes support, communication and client experience. Together, they take a highly personal approach to building, valuing strong relationships, clear communication and thoughtful execution from start to finish.

Based in the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers, TCC Homes creates architectural homes designed to be lived in, loved and handed down. 

Tye has always known he wanted to be a builder, drawn to architecture, detail and the satisfaction of creating something lasting with his hands. Early exposure to high-end work shaped his standards from the beginning, instilling a deep respect for quality and craftsmanship.

He has since worked across projects of all scales, but what has remained constant is his approach: to stay hands-on, to take pride in the details, and to build homes that clients feel genuinely connected to. He values working closely with clients throughout the process, believing the best outcomes come from collaboration and a clear understanding of how people want to live.

For him, there is no better moment than seeing a finished home through a client’s eyes - that sense of pride, relief and excitement when everything comes together. In an industry that often prioritises speed, Tye is committed to doing things properly - building homes with care, integrity and longevity in mind.

Bec brings a background in journalism and business, with years of experience across communications, content and client-facing roles. Her ability to understand people, shape narratives and manage the moving parts of a project plays a key role in the TCC Homes experience.

While her career began in media and communications, Bec developed a strong connection to the building process through her own projects, where she discovered a natural instinct for interiors, styling and the finer details that make a house feel like home.

With a considered eye and a deep appreciation for how spaces are lived in, Bec works closely across the client journey - from early conversations through to the finishing touches - helping ensure each home feels cohesive, personal and thoughtfully resolved.

Alongside her role in the business, Bec is also a hobby ceramicist, drawn to the tactile and creative side of making. This hands-on practice continues to influence her approach to interiors, with a focus on texture, materiality and pieces that feel collected over time.
